Congratulations to Galius Sun supported athlete Cat Morrison on her 3rd place in the extremely tough Ironman Lake Tahoe.

The altitude of Lake Tahoe was a new addition to the Ironman circuit and would add another factor to what is already a challenging enough day over the Ironman distances.

Both men's and women's Pro races would prove to be very hard fought, with Chris McDonald adding to his recent win at Ironman Louisville with another here to push Germany's Maik Twelsiek into second.

Melissa Hauschildt of Australia won back her Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Las Vegas today. A 29:19 swim saw Hauschildt leave the water 3:20 down on fellow Aussie Annabel Luxford and defending champion Leanda Cave. Whilst not quite the swim she would have liked, the Aussie wasted no time in chasing down the leaders.
