Movistar's Intxausti wins Stage 8 of Giro d'Italia

They came tremendously close to their first stage win on Friday with Juanjo Lobato's second place in Fiuggi and Saturday finally brought the Movistar Team another prize to add to their permanent love story with the Giro d'Italia, thanks to Beñat Intxausti, The Basque rider rose his arms to the firmament in Campitello Matese to crown a really fought break from the very start of the 186km stage eight, the first real mountains of this edition.

Alex Dowsett takes GC lead in Bavaria

A glorious day overall for the Movistar Team started in south Germany as Alex Dowsett (Movistar Team) claimed his first road victory of 2015 exactly two weeks after smashing the UCI Hour Record in the Manchester velodrome. The Essex-based rider became the new leader of the Bayern-Rundfahrt after snatching the decisive, 26km TT in Hassfurt by the smallest of margins (1"45) over Portuguese stageracer Tiago Machado (KAT), whom he was leading by only two seconds through the intermediate point.

Sun cream lotions failing protection tests say Which

Two of the UK's most popular brands of sunscreen lotion do not offer as much sun protection as they claim, according to the consumer organisation, Which?

It is advising consumers not to buy the products, both of which are labelled as sun protection factor (SPF) 30.
One of them is made by Boots; the other is sold under the Hawaiian Tropic brand.
However, both companies rejected the claims made by Which? and said their sunscreens were fully effective.

Movistar's Alex Dowsett breaks the Hour Record

The immense talent of Alex Dowsett and magnificent planning and technical work by the whole Movistar Team took the UCI Hour Record back to within the ranks of Eusebio Unzué's squad, twenty-one years after an unforgettable evening in Bordeaux. The National Cycling Centre in Manchester witnessed a consistency exhibition from the Essex-born rider, who never got nervous and always enjoyed fantastic sensations to hit harder in the most appropriate moment, into the final 15 minutes of riding.
