Catriona Morrison wins Alpe D'Huez Long Distance Triathlon

HUGE congratulations to Galius supported triathlete, Catriona Morrison, winning today's Alpe D'Huez Long Distance Triathlon in 6hr 19m 17.98sec.
Catriona dominated the race having lead the field from the first kilometer of the bike section with the rest of the athletes fighting for the minor places. England's Lucy Gossage took second place in 6hrs 28mins 17.98sec.

Catriona Morrison wins Zarauzko Triathlon in Spain

Congratulations to Galius supported athlete, Catriona Morrison in winning Saturdays Zarauzko Triathlon in the Basque Country Spain, for the second year running. Catriona completed the 2.9km swim, 81km bike and 20km run course in a time of 4:25:58 with second placed Gaztanaga Dorronsoro nearly 4 minutes behind in 4:29:31.

Congratulations to Galius supported athlete Cat Morrison in her 2nd place in the Panama 70.3 IM

Cat Morrison was back headlining the weekends results with a 2nd place at Ironman 70.3 Panama. Despite stories of a vom-fest affecting the race. Morrison toed the line looking for her 3rd win of 2014 in what was a strong field consisting of the eventual winner Angela Naeth, Heather Jackson, Mary Beth Ellis and Natascha Badmann.

Cat Morrison wins Ironman 70.3 Auckland

Congratulations to Cat Morrison on her impressive win at Ironman 70.3 Auckland.

Car showed great timing and patience as she stalked her prey of defending champion Annabel Luxford, before pouncing with just 6km left to go on the run and coming across the line in a time of 4:12:42 compared to Luxfords 4:15:28.

Under weather conditions that were well suited for 70.3 racing, it was Luxford who started this race in imperious looking form, emerging from the water with a clear lead and time of 24:03, ...

Cat Morrison starts 2014 with victory in Tauranga NZ

Congratulations to our supported athlete, Catriona Morrison, as she took an impressive victory and went close to race record time in the Port of Tauranga Half Triathlon.

The race began with four-time winner Jo Lawn amongst the leaders out of the water, from Amelia Rose Watkinson and Scottish star Morrison. Lawn was out of sorts on the bike though, with Morrison and Watkinson entering transition side by side, comfortably clear of Lawn and Candice Hammond.

Cat Morrison podiums at Ironman Lake Tahoe

Congratulations to Galius Sun supported athlete Cat Morrison on her 3rd place in the extremely tough Ironman Lake Tahoe.

The altitude of Lake Tahoe was a new addition to the Ironman circuit and would add another factor to what is already a challenging enough day over the Ironman distances.

Both men's and women's Pro races would prove to be very hard fought, with Chris McDonald adding to his recent win at Ironman Louisville with another here to push Germany's Maik Twelsiek into second.
