Team Raleigh secured their first podium spot of the season last weekend and were in with a great chance of further glory before bad luck struck at the GP Lillers.

On Saturday, New Zealander Tom Scully took second place at the, Eddie Soens Memorial Race in Aintree, Team Raleigh’s first UK race of the season, only losing out on the gold to double Olympic champion, Ed Clancy.

The team set out its stall early and fought hard to get out front, setting a high pace and riding aggressively. Richard Lang was also in the mix on the final straight, taking fourth place. Full report here.
