The Tour of Britain starts this Sunday with two teams officially supplied and supported by GALIUS SUN:

An exciting debut for the Movistar Team in one of the important late season stage race, despite having 10 years of history. Even though Alex Dowsett and Beñat Intxausti already took part last June with our jersey in the IG London Nocturne, plus several Movistar Team riders competing with their national squads in the Olympic races of London 2012, the telephone squad had never taken part in a pro event in the United Kingdom with a full line up. Nairo Quintana and Dowsett will be the main references for Jaimerena's group into a hard route for this year's Tour of Britain, with plenty of narrow roads, ups and downs which suit all types of riders. Full details about the Movistar Team's Tour of Britain can be found here.

Team Raleigh will be well represented with the squad recently announced by team manager Cherie Pridham.

This is a chance for Raleigh to race against the world’s best, with British favourites Bradley Wiggins and Mark Cavendish among the names announced for the starting line-up. Team Raleigh manager Cherie Pridham said the team was raring to ahead of the opening stage in Peebles, Scotland.

“With it being the 10th anniversary  of the Tour Of Britain, we can only imagine the crowds and the support for some of the most famous names in World Cycling. For Team Raleigh to be amongst this is an honour and a privilege and we are very motivated to put on a great show.

“All our sponsor have worked extremely hard to put together the best equipment and support for our riders. We have put together a squad with both experience and strength to tackle each day with aggression and ambition. Its going to be a fantastic 8 days for cycling in the UK!

The squad and team details can be found at Team Raleigh News Blog.

We wish both Teams a successful Tour of Britain.
